It’s really important to take the time to test and ascertain what type of soil you have in your garden, particularly where you are planning to position new varieties.

Have a look around and take note of the plants that seem to thrive more than other varieties – this will give you a clue to the type of soil in you garden and the type of plants that can be introduced without too much trouble.

If you are introducing more natives, you may need to consider a soil treatment o mix that will reduced the acidity of your soil and ensure your natives blossom.

Careful preparation of the soil content in pots will also ensure superb specimens that give you years of joy.
